Biography
Meaghan is an alumna of the University of Notre Dame and Loyola University Chicago School of Law. Meaghan began her career in business law as a student clinician in Loyola’s Business Law Center Clinic, where she formed businesses and not-for-profit corporations for Chicagoland entrepreneurs.
During law school, Meaghan clerked at several Chicago law firms, learning the practice of law from seasoned attorneys with various areas of expertise. Following law school, Meaghan was a law clerk to the Honorable James F. Henry (Ret.) in the Law Division – Individual Commercial Calendar of the Circuit Court of Cook County. She analyzed contested issues of law in cases ranging from contract disputes to shareholder suits.
Meaghan then entered private practice, litigating cases involving contracts, construction defects, mechanics liens, insurance, and attorney fee disputes. In addition to running her own practice, Meaghan also assists with dispute resolution and donates her legal expertise to charitable causes.
